Here' a picture of my third 'essence user' conversion. This is another excellent old 15mm Traveller miniature, which is available from
RAFM. As you can see this guy was under-coated and ready to paint, but I decided to snip and file off his sword handle and scabbard and replace it with a lasersword, lightsaber, or whatever, made out of a section of paperclip and some greenstuff. I think he'll be a 'light side' type of guy and next on my 'to paint' list...
Another great conversion. Great use of figures that you have just laying around.

ReplyDeleteClever work, but I can't help thinking skeksis (The Dark Crystal, movie) when you refer to them as essence users.. ;)
ReplyDelete@ Kobayachimaru - its a bit of a paper clip. I picked up a box of small brassed paperclips for 99p (UK) and I use them for model pinning an lightsabers, etc.
